Websever / remote admin

Hi everyone !

I found a webserver running on the M8.

The home directory is Device/Windows/www

does anyone know the standard username / password for the remote admin interface or has any other information why this is running on the M8 ?

i bumped into this also today.
Any news on the username or password ?

When i browse on a pc to the ip from my m8,
i get some pages but none of them allow acces without pass

it's:
admin and root

what are you guys talkin about? is there suppose to be a program of some sort in device\windows\www ? because all i have in that folder are 2 folders "remoteadmin" and "wwwpub" and a file "current-httpd" and no programs or .exe files. Do I have to intall something? And if so, what will this program do?

i am running fw 0917 and it does not accept any of the provided user/pass

it is ment to be as a webserver , not really needed but a nice option for me
you could place files in the www root , then an other pc in the netwerk/internet could browse to the files like for ea. to meizume.com
you dont need to install an extra tool for it cause it is build in the ce core.

for me it's
user: admin
pw: root

with 0.9.1.7

but that's all i can see:

Owww, now i feel stupid
the first time i browsed to it there came a field for a password with some chinese before it,
i entered a password it seems now that it was just asking to provide one to be used....
so i can login indeed with user : admin and pass : mypass.

For the moment i have the same thing like you on my screen, will investigate further now ;-)

update, mm according the registry there are files missing
