    Ok posting twice won't help
    - Have you installed the activesync version from the M8 Disc?
    - The way I understand your post you have selected Activesync as the USB mode?
    - When you plug in your M8 while Activesync is on, you should see a popup dialog box asking you to configure the connection for this mobile device, does that happen?

    Regards

I don't mean to be offensive - but what is your native language? There may be users on this forum who my be from your same country or speak your language.

And, despite your language problems, you really need to be patient and respect the forum by not posting your querry all over the place, and you may want to run a search on the forum with the keywords regarding your problem. I am assuming its activesync?

You want to try updating the drivers via device manager, with the drivers that came with the meizu CD... and then restart the computer - a number of users have had this activesync problem.

Your computer have to be installed microsoftactive sync aside from M8 driver disc, then you can see pop-up when connecting mobile to computer with Activesync mode, not USB disk mode that you can see this option in mobile setting

    Here is microsoftactive sync

Download Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 | Synchronizing | Windows Mobile

    Hopefully, It might work

Enjoy your life with M8 ^^

Vista has Mobile Device Center which is the same as ActiveSync. Try that.

I don't have xp, otherwise i'd be happy to help.

It wouldn't hurt to try this:

    1. Remove the M8 device driver from device manager via uninstal.
    2. Disconnect M8 from computer.
    3.Uninstall activesync from your computer.
    4. Restart.
    5. Install Activesync from M8 CD(Donot Connect M8)
    6. Restart computer (leave the M8 CD in the computer)
    PrtScn20090403222441.jpg
    7. On M8 select USB mode to activesync (as in picture)
    8. Connect M8 to the computer see what happens.

If nothing happens then try the two steps i mentioned in my first post again.

If this does not work, then i am sorry, i am at the limit of my understanding... any other whizes out there feel free to edit my mistakes in this procedure, but without entering the registery or anything this seems like the only viable procedure.

I don't understand what you just wrote, but if the USB disc is working fine, then the problem is on your computer not on the phone - the M8 has a lot of bugs, sure, but the activesync function is not one of them... there has to be a resource conflict or some other issue on your XP such as a firewall or something... try it on a different computer, is my only other suggestion .
