    Changing Time - by itself ???

    Hi,
    when I restart my Meizu M8, it always changes the time by itself, jumps 6 hours!

    Is this a general problem, or can I solve it??????

    It might not be when you're restarting - if you have Activesync set to automatically synchronising time and date, it will mess up your time settings (happened to me as well until I turned off the time-sync). I think this has to do with some hinks in the time zone programming. Check your activesync settings!

    This is known reported bug - personally i have stopped using activesync since not a lot of things sync well with the phone - beyond contacts and calender entries - and then only if you have a few calendar entries.

    Goto the M8 tips and tricks section, i have posted a way to hack/fix this.
    Another way to fix is to goto control.exe (in the windows directory on the phone) double tap the second icon in the second row - now select your proper GMT +/- time zone... the only problem with this method is that you need a lot of patience or very thin fingers!

    I tried it in the windows panel....it works till now grazie!!!!!!
