Try VLC Player for OS X. It should handle any video you throw at it without extra codecs.

.mp4 can also be H.264, H.263, which both of the players should handle. Can you record a very brief video and upload it somewhere so we can analyze the codec?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIn this case the file seems to be corrupt. Hopefully this will be adressed in a future FW release.
Guess there is just one more solution (but I guess we Mac-user don't really like it): Get Windows and install a codec pack for that in BootCamp, VMWare or Parallels. Apple and the OS X community are very strict about codec specs -> ergo they want you to encode and decode working files that use the official specs. Windows doesn't seem to be so picky of what you feed to it. :P But I would rather wait a while because if it's a bug Meizu will surely fix it.::: MEIZU ON MAC - Support for Apple Mac OS X users (DE, EN, CN) :::Currently using: miniPlayer SL M6 (8 GB) @ FW 2.004.5 / M8 (16 GB) @ FW 0.9.0.4[ Tip: ] Problems getting your ID3 tags from iTunes displayed on your M6 or M3?
