internet access problem

hello all
I get my m8 last week, have direcly last firmware ..0.4 instaled.
But I have problem with internet acces.

1. Wlan - i connect with my home router without problems. signal is ok. but after opening browser it say - can not connect this page-

2. wlan off , try to conect over edge, gprs on , seting on : cmnet, ip corect.
but after opening brawser - same problem.

Do have samone any idea?

not really.. did you try to clean registry* or reinstall firmware?

*shutdown - restart with m+power

Well, if you are connecting via GPRS you need to maybe get the correct settings from your provider, i took me a few tries to get my GPRS working.

As for WLAN... there have been similar problems reported, do a search on the forum for more information, but if you are able to connect to your home network (the green light in WLAN properties comes on and you get a signal reading next to your cell signal) then:
1. try to connect change the WLAN connection settings to 'Closed', under your network name

2. try to see if you can open a webpage using explorer.exe, you can find this file in the windows directory of the phone. Just go to 'view' and select 'address bar' and type in the website address.

I had the same problem as you... My internet started working as soon as I updated to the official 0.9.0.4 firmware... Try reinstalling the firmware again.

I have the same problem, no luck with Opera, but my email etc all work. However, trying one of the IE browsers from the download area, that did work. I'm now blaming Opera.

(My phone also arrived with a non-final 0.9.0.4, flashed to official 0.9.0.4, cleared registry, still no luck)

Just a quick follow-up to say that my Opera finally worked this evening. I did change WLAN to closed based on a suggestion from the Meizu.com forum.

So it's definitely possible

ms1012 I'm glad it worked for you, but had you just done a search on this forum, you would have found your answer much sooner - or maybe read post #3 in this thead...

I reset registry and flash again 0.9.0.4 image.
Now work with wlan. Speed is not perfect but work.

with gprs still same problem.

You need to get GPRS settings from your mobile provider and enter them...
Call up the customer service and ask them for the APN, Proxy, and Port - they may say to you that these are automatically sent to your phone, just tell them you have a new phone from China and it does not support over the air settings.
