M8 Sim card question

while verizon normally doesnt use sim cards, there are "globally ready" phones from verizon with SIM cards. i was wondering if i bought one of those phones and put the SIM into the M8 will the M8 pick up service?

Verizon isnt really a GSM network (yet), so maybe not. I read that for now those global ready phones will use GSM only when roaming.

You have to make sure that if you are able to get a SIM card from Verizon that it's on a GSM band supported by the M8, you can check on the Meizu website: specifications of the M8, which bands it supports.

Edit - right now I'm not sure if the final M8 is quad or dualband, the test version definately is.
