Disabling Music button

Hi there,

Is there a way to disable Music button (the on on the right side)? So when you push it nothing happens.

Also is there a way to turn off music player with some key shortcut, instead of pausing+M button or killing in tray process?

Maybe if I delete musicplayer file from Windows it wont work? Please advice.

Just pause the music. The music player will shutdown by itself.

As for disabling the music button, you will probably have to remap the button somehow. I assume by editing the registry or changing something in control panel. Otherwise you will need to ask a Meizu engineer for help.

Why would you need to disable the music button anyways?

My mother who uses M8 fails in tech and often by accident presses music button and has problems shutting it down :P

So i'd like to just disable it

well you cant, too difficult, this also annoys me sometimes...

Amost two years has passed, any news on remapping/dissabling music Button? asking since Porting to Android has gone faaar.
