Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsProblem with my M8
My english isn't that good but i try to explain the best way possible.
When i turn the m8 on it starts normally until i am in the menu. but after a time (sometimes it takes longer sometimes shorter) the touchscreen shows no reaction. also the power button and all the other buttons don't work.
I already cleared the registry, formatted the disk and reinstalled the firmware, but nothing helped me out.
has anyone an idead what could have happened?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI had something like this happen to me a few times - hasn't happened in a while (don't remember if it happened in 0.9.0.3 - which is what i am using now). Phone becomes unresponsive, buttons, touchscreen does not work - but it generally only happened when i was getting a call while doing something else, or when i am trying to call someone when another call comes in... i attributed it to a glitchy interface, in anycase, when the buttons don't work i remove the battery wait a few secs reinsert it and its all fine... it is not a constant thing. I would imagine, if you are using the latest fw, maybe you have some hardware problem... (i hope not)
How long have you owned the M8? did it just start happening or was it like this since you got the phone?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSorry to hear that, thats about the extent of my expertise...
I hope you can solve it (without having to send the phone back to Meizu);
myself lately i have been noticing some electrical hum/feedback sound when i am in calls, and am hoping this doesn't turn into a major problem.
eventhough you may not get any different answers, i would suggest you post your problem on the meizu forums as well, http://forum.meizu.com - couldn't hurt; maybe you get some direct help from Meizu...Last edited by anxiousone; 03-24-2009 at 11:48 AM.
