Meizu M8 [How to change ringtone / Firmware upgrade]

I jus brought M8....I not sure about this phone hmmm how to change the Ringtone and SMS tone?? izzit need to input the cable to the computer and copy the songs into a file call " User Ring "??? and now my phone software is 0.9.0.1....is this better or the new ver software better??? can someone help me....

If you want a ringtone other than from the list offered by M8 by default, then yes you need to copy the tone into the User Ring folder (that's Disk -> UserRing)

It would be advisable to upgrade the firmware as some small issues have apparently been solved.

for ringing profiles management you should install the Profile application (see the download section)
it'll allow you to customize ringing profiles easily (sms/call tone, vibration...)

and for sms ringtone go to settings/sounds/new message and select your ringtone.
There is a bug on your firmware,at every restart your ringtone will be changed to the default one, i advice you to upgrade to the last firmware(0.9.0.4).

hmm...if i install the new ver, old ver delete or wat...? the control panel izzit good???

of course the old version will be deleted and the control panel is better.If you don't like it you can reinstall your current firmware,please don't write like you are writing an sms...
