Oh man, that blows. Ever hear a grown man cry? You would if that happened to me.
Considering it's a capacitive touchscreen, you will probably need to do some Googling. I wouldn't trust any plastic polish without evidence that it won't damage the conductive film. One brand, Displex, specifically states it's not recommended for touchscreens. I've used Novus Plastic Polish before and would normally recommend it for just about anything...except this. Maybe try emailing Novus and asking??

Please people, as I already wrote Displex is NOT recommended for touchscreens. If you have used it on a touchscreen device, please detail your experience, otherwise a simple Google search will give you results like this:

Thanked 12 Times in 7 PostsThe scratch isn't very big. And with the screen protector on it now, you can only seen the scratch at a certain angle with the screen off so i might be able to live with it.
So the touch screen is plastic? I always thought it was glass. But i will talk to novus and see if it works. Thanks for the tip!

I do not advise you to use any type of scratch remover on a glass screen, it would just cause more hairline scratches that will become very visable. Scratch remover work by wearing down the area you applly it to so that it becomes even with the scratch. This would not work too well on glass because glass is not soft like plastic is.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Is the scratch on the screen protector or on the M8 touchscreen itself?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsNot really on topic, but is M8 screen scratch resistant without screen protector? I mean by everyday use, not dropping it :P

i made a leathercase for it so it looks like new after one week intensive using..
i think you can compare the quality with the m6 player? mine has some very little scratches after one year usage

Thanked 12 Times in 7 Postsscratch is on the screen itself. If it were on the protector i would just go to daiso to buy one for 2 bucks
as strong as the glass is, it's no match for pavement.
I also just ordered a silicone case and a hard plastic case on ebay. i'll tell you guys how they are once they arrive
