Seriously? YouTube on mobile devices from my point of view is a very minor convenience, since many videos aren't even converted to the necessary mobile format. YouTube on the iPhone/iPod touch only has a couple videos, and even Apple can't pull off a near-desktop experience of YouTube.

    Webradio

    Hi,

    it's fantastic, that's possible to hear radio and watch youtube videos.
    But how can I make from this German Radio a asx-File??

    Here the Web-Players:
    Webradio - Na denn ... ffn
    There is also an app for the iPhone...

    And this Web-Radio I want to listen to on my M8:
    Na denn ... ffn!
    It's flash I think...I don't know how to listen to it on M8.

    Help would be great!

    Im honest, youtube makes musicvideos available all over the world.
    Would be the last point to buy a m8.

    No, that's obviously why no one's posted.

    Hello, nice2know, I copied your sample with Petofi radio to an editor file and stored as petofi.asx on M8 root. Tried to start the stream, but the player hangs and a message "The music you selected cannot by played." appears. Can you give me any advice, what I did wrong? Thank you in advance!

    do you have the mvb.cab installed? I put my rmvb.cab file and asx file in applications data folder. You have to click on RMVB.cab to start the radio stations to start on the music player.
    I also found the MMS files work for me see below:
    <ASX Version="3.0">

(pop)US-1 Radio-key west

    <ref HREF="mms://alt.floridakeysmedia.com/us1radio"/>

country Froggy 94.9 pa

    <ref HREF="mms://wm-live.abacast.com/foreverofpa-woginet-32"/>

(JAZZ)Smooth 105.7 The Breeze

    <ref href="mms://nick11f.surfernetwork.com/KNIK"/>

    </asx>

    Try these.

    Hmm, that's strange, what does RMVB patch has to do with asx files? I don't remember I ever installed it, and it was working fine when I created this topic...not anymore though

    Thank you both, twkii and nice2know_u, for your answers! Tried the asx file with 3 mms streams without installing RMVB.CAB. They work all, they are the first web radio stations I could listen through my M8. I am afraid that asx files with http streams do not work. I am not very competent in that things, but can it depend from some settings in the opera web browser?

    No idea why it doesn't work anymore, it was fine a month ago. The problem might be in the stream, not in M8

    I have tried inputting what twkii has left as an example and it worked!

    Example used:
    <ASX Version="3.0">

(pop)US-1 Radio-key west

    <ref HREF="mms://alt.floridakeysmedia.com/us1radio"/>

country Froggy 94.9 pa

    <ref HREF="mms://wm-live.abacast.com/foreverofpa-woginet-32"/>

(JAZZ)Smooth 105.7 The Breeze

    <ref href="mms://nick11f.surfernetwork.com/KNIK"/>

    </asx>
