    @Rabsi
    Press the now playing icon twice.

    @tilai
    Then you're not using the latest QQ which was updated to work on the 0.9.0.3 firmware. I'm going to upload it for you later.

    edit: Download QQ for M8

    True, but then again an old DSLR will be much better than any modern point and shoot as well. DSLRs play in an entirely different league, with 6 MP they can be very sharp already, low light is no problem, and photos are taken instantly (my 4 year old Pentax takes 0.2s with focusing, without 0.1s...).

    i got the new firmware, and the camera is marginally better in dark, and MUCH better in the light, so that is pretty cool

    New Camera Rating: 5/10
    And the new Pedometer version is better than the first one. You can now run it in the background. So you can now put it in your pocket when you run!

    Hi there,

    As I did promise it, so here is my review after few weeks usage. Thanks again to Rabis1 for this thread, and this idea.

    here we go.

    touchscreen:
    Brilliant, simple great, efficient, smooth, easy to use. Far beyond any other touchscreen phones (I tested Nokia, HTC and LG phones). I beleive it is as good (or even better according to some rumors) as iPhone.

    Lock Screen:
    I really do like it, simple, efficient, and dragging icons on the upper part of the screen is absolutly a great idea. Too bad at the top of tghe window, you can't access setting features such as the battery level, alarms, signal, or other available settings related to these information.

    Desktop: good display, easy to see, and find things you want to access.

    Call window: Complete, easy to use, great. This is in fact the most important. So many "high features" phones have so poor phone abilities. Here you can do all you need.

    Calender: The calendar is just a simple calender. Nothing special, I can't compare with others, and it is not a feature I really use.
    Thing that is missing there for me: the week number, quite useful, and the option to see week as we can select month or day.

    Internet: No use for me, never had use for this with phones. Internet is not something I need on a phone, I prefer to use my netbook for this.

    Mail: Same as internet, no need. Van't say, I even beleive I never started this feature. I do recommand to others to check the reviews of this feature from people who really use it.

    Settings: This is a main point to me. Everything is easy to set, all features are quite complete. Easy to use, nothing much to say. far better than windows mobile settings... haha

    Music: Really impressive. I am used to iPod, and the way to use it is almost as easy and simple. Good sound quality. It is really worth using M8 for music. I even stopped to use my iPod...

    Video: I don't watch videos on my phone, so I can't talk about it. Seems that others find this good.

    Photos: Really good, once again, easy to use, the maximize function with 2 fingers is great. Not much to say about a picture viewer, but is complete to me.

    Camera: This is definitly the worse feaure of the phone. Camera quality is not good. the way to use it is good, as other features, but the quality is not good.

    Messages: simply great. I like the dictionary way to write message. too bad about the default keyboard that remains in chinese. One thing which is missing is, to be able to edit the number of one contact you use, because some of my contacts are not in shanghai, so I use a special number, 12593, before the number to pay less for phone calls. but this number can not be used with short messages. but impossible to edit the number, to remove it when writing a message.

    Documents: Easy to find what you are looking for, even if I don't really use it.

    Ebooks: I don't use this feature, never tried.

    Calculator: simply a calculator, works. period.

    Clock: Good, just too bad many times are missing. I like the way to set alarms, it is quite useful for me. Happy with it.

    Notepaper: A good one, too bad you can't access notes when there are from the toip of the window.

    Overall review: A great phone, a perfect touchscreen, design is really great, thin, great screen size, great icons and easy way of use. The new theme management is excellent, everyday my phone looks like different, I like that.

    Video Playback: I put on a couple of vids (Demetri Martin, anyone know him? pm me if you do) and it is brilliant. Should be great to use in long car journeys (if you're not driving) and the screen size is absolutely fine.
