It's always been like that.
No one has come up with a solution yet.
It is pretty annoying, but bear with it. After all, the m8 is released for the domestic market in china after all.

Yeah this part of the upgrade doesn't benefit us english users, i text frequently so i really don't like have 2 taps to get to english... i have upgraded yesterday, but i will go back to 9.0.1 if this keyboard thing goes too annoying to work with.

Thanked 1,049 Times in 391 PostsI tried but felt the keyboard is too small to type on comfortably. Also I couldn't turn off predictive input to be able to write in hungarian...

Usually I just press ENTER on the keyboard after every word. regardless if the keyboard is set to Chinese or not, the word comes out as-is.

Thanked 9 Times in 5 PostsDid you notice that when you're on english mode, the last word before sending no longer needs to be confirmed by pressing enter or space bar?

talking about the offical keyboard, i can not confirm this. i just sent several short messages yesterday on 0.9.0.3_v2 and the messages were all missing the final word as i did not press space/enter after typing it in (word was still underlined).... as for 0.9.0.4 ... havent tested that yet

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi have the same problem in address book. If you don't enter or space after the surname it doesn't save the name..
One question for admin.. the forums are interesting, and a wealth of information about the M8. However would it be more accessible if the info were stored in a Wiki format rather than forum.. A lot of info is now buried, and spread across many threads..
Just a thought..

Thanks, it would be really good for all Meizu Me members if they actually add the option to disable the Chinese keyboards.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!
