skype for m8?

Hi guys,

i just wondered if there is a skype version for m8, has anyone found one yet?

Skype running on a WiFi-enabled mobile phone is, in a nutshell, why mobile phones in China aren't currently allowed to have WiFi enabled. Guaranteed if there were a Skype app, you'd already have heard about it.

The M8 is running on Windows CE. No skype available for CE?

it available for CE but if you search the form you can see that somebody tryed it and it didnt work mabe in the futer it someone can make it work on meizu m8....

yeah, i tried on my meizu, i post my login user and password, it say my pass is wrong :S

i got it to work a bt, just very unofficial and difficult to use, obviusly made for a different device

I tried use with wifi in my room and not sucess :S
what is your version of skype please?

It works with any firmware older than 0.9.0.5, search for that version on the forum, but it's quite messy to work with.

You have to run both the recording application and skype in order to get sound, and you have to use the supplied earphone+mic, else the sound goes through the external m8 speaker.

Other than that, it works very well! If it were compatible with newest firmware's, I'd still be using it...
