I live in the USA, and a few phone companies such as Metro PCS, Sprint, and I think Verizon don't use sim cards.
Would the M8 be compatible with these companies, or does it need a sim card?

It is not compatible with CDMA networks. It NEEDS a sim card.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsA SIM card is NECESSARY to get the M8 on a GSM network (ONLY GSM. No other networks). For the US you will need to be on a AT&T or T-Mobile network.
