Where I can have this file?? "control.EXE.0409.mui"

i've search for awhile but i can't find this "control.EXE.0409.mui"

help me please

why I can't find it??? in /windows has only "control.exe" and "control.png" there is no "control.exe.0409.mui" file

Your phone has to be put in ActiveSync mode for you to see it.

Yes, I try all. But still cannot find this file. When connect in ActiveSync Mode even in M8 or by PC. (I tried in USB Disk mode as well, but same)

What's happen to my M8??

I have just checked myself, and I don't think there is a file available with that name. There may be one hidden within the files we can't readily access, but it is not available for edit normally, that I can see. Sorry

I'm looking at all the .mui files i had copied off the phone to my desktop before the last fw update and control is not amongst the list.

I want it, because I want to use Control Panel in English.

@beer: Thanks for the sarcasm, we all would like the core CE files to be in english in addition to control panel also explorer, but it is my understanding control panel (and explorer) is part of the original CE distribution not a M8 developed fw that runs on top of the control panel. mui files exist for only the 'apps' that meizu has running on top of the original CE. Please correct me if i am wrong, or point me to where it was originally stated there is supposed to be a control*.mui?

@Rabsi: I believe i speak for most of the members of this forum who would like you to simply refrain from posting usless clutter on EACH and EVERY thread! You don't own the M8, haven't made any effort to own an M8 despite claiming you want it, yet you seem to comment on each and every M8 thread... its annoying.

i second the motion with anxiousone, at least shall own one before responding to any topics on this forum for the first hand experienced, and that the reply or comments are with some validity.

On topic: There's no such file you looking for because as anxiousone said, control panel is part of Windows CE, and not a program made by Meizu...too bad.

to anxiousone: I didn't mean like that. And sorry for my poor english. Because this one is WinCE CHS version, isn't?? I just wonder why it has a lot of 409.mui but only for control.exe, which doesn't have. And I have to say sorry again coz I'm not graduate from this field & I'm a new comer. I just want to know how to change from CHS to ENG.


What's about WinCE 6.0 emulator? Yesterday I tried to download from MS (trial 180 days version) but it needs serial number....

Even try to find in google. it has only 1 file available is for WinCE5.0 . So there is no way to change language from CHS to ENG, right?

No problem (i was more pissed at that other guy than anything you wrote).

I am also not well versed in this stuff; i have often wondered if Meizu will consider to load an English version of the CE distributable on the phone (i don't want to start any rumors or anything vis a vis the hypothetical international version); or maybe if there is some way to just find the english version of the files and copy them on the phone - that shouldn't change any of the meizu specific desktop... I have downloaded bunch of CE software of various sources, but have also had no luck in getting apps to install on the phone - including Mobile Office...

hopefully there are some fans of the phone internationally who can get thier hands on the M8 and also have CE development knowledge... though they wouldn't really need help from this forum would they!
