Final versions should have wifi. So just get that instead. With Meizu given the green light to sell, lots of M8s should come up on the Chinese market by this month.

Why does your father say that test versions are rubbish when it's the exact same hardware (MAYBE with WiFi adapter as an extra part) and when the test and final phones will use the same firmware?
@ Blah - Where have you read that final versions come with WiFi?Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

In theory, the test units and official untis shouldnt be much different, since the testers will have to acess the final design to give a full version.
And speaking of WiFI, many test units have it but it has to be unlocked, no big deal, and with final firmware (operating system version) it should function just fine.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsok, thanks, I think if it's really only 1 month until mass production I don't have to argue with my father for hours whether a test version is rubbish or not (he hasn't informed himself about it)
Anyway, thank youThe best answers can be given on the most foolish questions, be thankfull that I am alive!

^ Not to be a dick, but I'm seriously annoyed with you posting shit like this.
Please name THREE hardware bugs that the M8 has had. Be ready to face consequences if you can't.Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell, at least 1 shoots in my head:
1) telephon function is rustling (was 1-3 months before christmas^^)
And also it's not me who's saying the hardware of testversions is bad, it's my father, and I wanna convince him with posts even like you just did (because you say that everything is firmware problems, and can be fixed by downloading the new 1, and that's what I wanna tell him)
EDIT:
Oh sorry, I just recognized that err0r didn't talked to me^^The best answers can be given on the most foolish questions, be thankfull that I am alive!

One good argument why the hardware wouldnt be put in a bad light, because of bad firmware, would be to underline the manufatorer.
Most of the internal components are made by Samsung and Arm, which are respected firms, with success in most of the world, and reputation for making reliable and sturdy products. So the hardware is "good" for this reason. Back to the firmware, Meizu only a few weeks ago launched the 0.9 firmware, after only a month of releasing the 0.8 firmware, and in fact another firmware version was released within hours of 0.9. So Meizu are working hard on making the M8 as good a phone as they can.
This made my own father, from a critic to a content believer, although this is the more or less boiled down version of my speach to him.
(also i had to explain to him that most of our electronics are made in china, and why shouldnt a chinese company be legit)

all i can say is that Meizu m8 will let you learn about "techie" thing
... grab 1 and you will love it. In my own words it has open architecture that will let do the stuff you like in your phone, customized things, without worrying of destroying the unit system (as to say... you can return it back to original, when you mess up something.. hehehe) ...
hackzack, believe me, you will be engrosed to (your) M8 when you have it, and maybe even your father. But of course, you shall respect your father's decision, if you shall get it or not, its him who will buy it for you....
