first day with the m8

today i spend must of the day playing with the m8, i have install and unistall almost everything i found here, the phone its great i really think the invesment its worth it, not bugs so far

but even when im so happy with the phone im little disappoint with the camera, does take really good pic but the problem is to focus, even when i stay with the trigger button press for the auto focus, i have to be soo still or the photo will look a little foggy , is there anyway to configure it to stop that ?? or i have to wait for the next fw??

and another thing i installed a program to activate the edge from m8fans, and everything its fine except for the msn, its work by wifi but i can log in with edge, Im the only with this problem??

Have fun with the m8 and don't worry too much. Meizu updates the phone firmware constantly and everything will be fine in due time.

Actually, that's a problem many cell phone cameras have. I'm not sure why this is the case.. but many people I know have to be very still when snapping shots with their phones. Congratulations on getting your M8. I'm really glad that you're happy with your investment!

i forget something, the sound is simply awesome, loud and clear, Its sound far better that my laptop, by the way when i bought it the shop men told me that this is going to be the las group with wifi

jdavp, for the camera... m8 can get very nice photo, worthy of flickr posting...it has white balance function: cloudy, sunny, flourescent and incandescent, then zoom, auto set, brightness (play the volume button, when you are in camera mode to get this functions), and for the auto focus half press on the right button when taking a photo, it will do the auto focus to get the very good quality picture.. (dont use the button on the screen)... the only to keep mind while taking a shot, keep it still for a second or 2... happy photo shooting with m8

hvdelcastillo as i say before i already use the auto focus and all the tools and even then i have to be too still or my photos will look weird

can you post your photo here? the thing for camera phone is environment "light"... im no photography expert, yet i learn a thing from my friends with passion on camera, and i apply it to m8 photo shooting... you can do this to check if you can get some picture... mount or put your hand firm on the table while taking some focus photo (you can imagine how i did on the photo i posted)... its on table, take a shoot, you will know the auto focus is working and your not shaking too much, as the center cursor of camera will go from white to green when doing the half press (the object will be become very clear quality on the screen), and just unpress it... hold it for a second.. it will take the picture and thats it, you will have a very good photo... i hope

jdavp, are you using the latest (0.9.0.1_2) firmware? Because the camera's speed improved in that version.

Try cleaning the smugges off your lens
