    M8 Questions For Canada

Hey guys, Im dying to get the phone but I have a quik question, well, two or three lol. I just signed up to Meizu Me and Ive been scifting through all of the chat's trying not to upset people with questions that have been asked probably hundreds of times and answered just the same. Ive seen Err0r get angry at a few people lol. He seems to be the guy that knows everything on here which is awesome.

First, I keep reading people from the U.S. and Europe who have bought the phone I was under the impression only test copies were out to the public? If people are buying them now, where do I seign? lol. Because they are being sold on ebay, but can these people be trusted?

Second, I live in Canada and the network frequencies here are 850MHZ and 1900MHZ. Will the M8 work in Canada? I read posts by people in the U.S. who's M8 is working in the U.S. If is...then it should work in Canada too then right? since Canada and the U.S. have similar frequencies.

Third, I read that Err0r said the phone is not out yet, but I keep reading all these posts of people in the U.S. and europe with the phone. Do they have the tester copies? or is the phone actually being massed produced and sold in stores in China.

Thanks Guys, Have a great day! Sorry if you have answered these question already.

The phone is not being sold outside China. You will find gray imports with none or incomplete warranty for purchase online, do so at your own risk.

Also 1: It was unnecessary to post the same question two times.

Also 2: I have updated the sticky thread for your clarification.

It should work on Rogers since it is a GSM network, but I'm not too sure about other services. I'm using Rogers with a cell phone I bought from China with no problems.

I'm 100% sure that it will work with Rogers, I'm not too sure about Bell or Telus, but you could always ask in-store.

No way it'll work on Bell or Telus since they're not GSM providers!

Bell Mobility - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Their cellular network utilizes AMPS, CDMA, PTT, 1xRTT and, as of November 2005, 1xEVDO technology.

Telus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Telus utilizes a CDMA 2000-based mobility phone network.

None of the networks support GSM phones; only Rogers/Fido does atm. There's talks of Telus moving over to GSM and HSPA soon.
