Hi and Welcome to the Forums! I can probably only answer one of your questions, as I do not own a M8, but I think you have to do the WiFi crack before you update, someone correct me if I'm wrong, and the signal is dependant on your service provider, T-Mobile, AT&T etc. Hope this helps, and congratulations on your purchase!

You do the WiFi / Bluetooth crack after you update.
M8 can act as a GPS screen, you still need a Bluetooth receiver. Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

I think Err0r meant you need a Bluetooth reciever for the GPS to work.

Bluetooth GPS receiver... The M8 doesn't have a GPS receiver. As I wrote before, the M8 will only work as a screen.

So... "wait a while" = "coming pretty soon"
Great.
