    Thanks N2KU,
    But a question:
When I try to install the cab from Explorer (Not Documents) it starts by saying that is needs to replace some DLL files.
    I stopped at this time.
Question is: If I let it replace the DLL's as it is wanting to do, and something does not work right, can I come back to the 0927 fW or am I going to have to live with this???

Also, if there are any steps that I need to follow, can I get them...??

The reason I am so freaked out is bcos my M8 had been acting up... no sound from the earpiece, no music play.. and then No Opera on the 0927 fW, well, I have been able to fix all the issues slowly and at this time the phone is working OK...

For Opera as it was not working with EDGE, I ran it with WiFi, and then it started working with EDGE... dont know what I did but it did not work before that... so maybe the WiFi did some changes and so now it works...
Just being cautious, as I am in US and returning the phone to Dealer is a bit tough....

meizu_michael how did you get the ICQ to run on this...??? Does it work with EDGE???
    Thanks

    To 919263

Its totally fine to let the cab replace the .dll files.. these rewritten dlls will change the clock image and taskbar images.

I would first recommend creating a new folder on ur 'Disc' called 'dll backup', and back up/ copy the following files into that folder from

    Device/Windows:

    clockres.dll
    MzMusicRes.dll
    MZRES.dll
    ShellRes.dll

These are the files that are overwritten in order to apply the GUI changes.
If you want to restore them, however, you will need to switch the language of ur phone back to Chinese before you can overwrite the replaced files with the originals [the Meizu wont overwrite them while ur in English mode for some reason if ur trying to copy manually].

Replacing those files wont /shouldnt disturb any other settings you have, so it should be quite safe to apply the cab with confidence.

    Good luck!

To Sushi2000... Thats a theme I'm kind of working on.. still modifying and creating icons for all the appz available.. when its done I will create a theme.

    Thanks cybermessiah for the tips...
Well, I did follow your instructions and got the new UI to work, but I noticed that all the icons loose color, even the Battery while charging, it used to have a Green fill, that is B & W now, so I tried to go back to the 0927 look.
Well, all the DLL probably are not copying back to the windows directory.
I read in another post that you have to change the language to Chinese and then copy back the DLL's well I did that as well, but I think only 2 of the DLL's copied back.

Any ideas how I can get back to the original UI, and successfully copy back the DLL's to the Windows directory...

    Thanks

when he says "I made the icons appear a little transparent" i suspect that they are not realy transparent but have been adapted to the specific wallpaper.
So you arange the icons in Photoshop like you want to have them on the phone, then you make the icons semi transparent (like Opacity 80%), flatten the Layers and cut the icons from the resulting layer...
(or is it possible to use PNG-24 icons with real transparency?)
