Why does it cost around 500€? It's more expensive than everyone expected but I hope that's due to the seller. 2400 yuan=500€? (I know the shipping isn't free but it also doesn't cost so much)

i presume its the sellers scamming people as it is not highly available

EVERYONE LISTEN UP...

I'm not going to spend $350 on a crappy iphone clone or iclone like the meizu m8. It has no wifi, which made me hate it and despise it.

Bottom line...I can get a brand new 8gb iphone first gen for $350, and I can unlock and jailbreak it. Now I can have the app store and 3rd party apps.

Bottom line...The m8 is crappy iphone want-to-be. I don't know if its just me, but it looks awfully like the iphone. Instead of a round home button, they have oval one.

BOTTOM LINE>>> IM GETTING A IPHONE!

Wow. I have the Iphone 3G and I still think that the M8 is better than it in many ways. I like the 3G alot and the M8 too. The fact is, it's not a clone, it's a competitor. So you think all of the touch phones that all of the other big cellphone companies make a clones too? Like the Samsung Instinct, Omnia, Eternity, etc and the HTC Touch and many other phones? No, they're not. They are all competitors. If the Iphone was the only touchphone, all of the other companies would lose money. That is way the make touchphones like the Iphone for cheaper and better, to get more business. And don't say the Iphone was the first touchphone too because it's not.

If the M8 is not the phone for you, that's OK. But don't call it a clone.

only in China,sell a cellphone with wifi is forbidden.so dont worry about that you buy a none wifi m8 in your city.

in china, 2380 is 1/2-1/3 of month salary for a white-collar poeple. what about you in your country?

i am 14 and have been saving up pocket money for the meizu m8 since December 2007; is the m8 going to be locked anywhere in the world, because it wont be locked in china, but what would it cost to unlock in other countries?

Apart from unlocking, are there any additional prices to pay for the meizu m8? Also, what are white-collar people? People who where business suit instead of button up shirts?

One last question. Could anybody tell me how similar the m8 music listening option is to the iPod/iPhone? What I mean is the interface which includes: sort by Artist, Album etc.

It would be great if these questions were answered, although i was fully hooked on the m8 anyway.

you cant sort your music by albums, i cant see why :s this is what bugs me the most of all :s the rest is the same, u can sort ur music by all songs, artists, playlists. u have a nice english at the age of 14, congratz for that
