Meizu M8 being sold for real?

This -link removed- sells m8 for $xxx each plus shipping of course.

what do you guys think?

I believe the only way to get the M8 as of now is in the Meizu Store in China.

It's highly doubtful this company has any stock to sell. First, Meizu shops in China can't even get enough M8s to supply their customers and long wait lists are common. Second, the phone is still in a "test phase" because Meizu doesn't even have their network access license; all buyers are being asked to sign a contract that they agree to this. Third, Jack Wong has stated Meizu will not allow web sales of the M8 for now, only Meizu shops. Fourth, look at the phones they sell: crummy knock-offs of major brands...would you buy from a place like that?

That said, I guess this shop is real; the location they list for Chengdu is on "mobile phone street" in that city. Dime a dozen: they're just savvy enough to have a bilingual web site and ship outside of China.

BTW, this kind of question is no doubt going to become more and more common; maybe it's time for a "Is this seller for real?" sticky FAQ.

Well, i just msned one of their representative and they told me they are really selling it, but i'm asking him for proof right now

Yeah, they are selling, but with no stock at all. All customers need to wait, wait and wait until there comes 5 or 10 or 20 M8s someday.

the shiping costs are through the roof

That shop is highly doubtful to me. I don't think there could be anyone who can get many M8s right now.

I found the specs on that web are almost ALL WRONG. How can I believe such a online-shop could have many M8s? They may got ONE m8 to take those foto, or even they haven't it at all.
