Yeah, I went there. I was surprised because there is a shop directly across from them that also sells Meizu...I think for longer than those guys. I think they have another shop in 华海电脑城 but even so they don't seem to be one of the official sellers.
Anyway, thanks!

I would like to ask you if Windows Mobile Software, or at least some of them, are compatible with the Meizu M8.

Thanked 26 Times in 5 PostsHello WRL. Some WM Software can run on M8 with some display problems, and some are perfect. As far as I know, Resco Photoviewer is perfect, and Resco Explorer can run but none icon can be displayed.
R66 is fully campatible.
Some games like Spore from EA and Chuzzle from Popcap Games can run well(but very slow in FPS).
GSFinder(a file explorer program) is fully compatible.
Usually most problems are caused by the high resolution of M8, resulting too small font size and then very hard to click with your fingers especially menus at the edge of the screen.

Thanked 26 Times in 5 PostsI've not tried those kind of apps. I think now there is none compatible... because I haven't heard any info that M8 CAN run any of them. You know if some one is compatible, there should be much info in both official BBS and unofficial BBS, however I see nothing.
So everything depends on two things. One is the market's reaction to M8 —— if M8 sells very very well just as MEIZU hoped, certainly there will be someone, both single man and company, have interesting to develop software for M8. The other is whether MEIZU can find a way to ensure writing software for M8 will certainly earn money, not "One deveolp, million pirate".
BTW: I heard MEIZU is meant to setup an official software shop for M8. That's a good start.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHi guys
I just got my m8 a few days and I just wanna know that
1. I saw video reviews posted by chinese website that they can move icons on desktop between lines and between pages but I don't know how to do that.
2. I downloaded the m8 themes but I don't know how to use it?
3. I put every applications in "Disk" folder, and when I run them they are very small
(most of them are Chinese). Is it supposed to be like that?
Sorry for my stupid questions but I really don't know and I can't read Chinese. Can anyone please tell me?
Thanks and Merry Christmas

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsFirst of all, welcome to MeizuMe!
I'll try to answer your questions:
1. I think you have to hold down your finger on one icon for a few seconds and then you should be able to move it.
2. I'm not sure about the themes, but I think if you have the icons in PNG format you have to locate the Windows folder and copy those pictures there overwriting the old ones.
3. There are just a few programs that can be run at fullscreen, so it's normal (because of the high-res screen).

Since a few of you guys have already recieved the m8.....would you be able to post all the meizu icons used on the menu (the original high-quality images). Maybe if you can post the whole systems icons, used in menus/settings; that would be awesome! Do you think they would be in the system files/folders?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsFirst of all, thanks for your important contribute Finday. As far as I Know and referred the last video in home page, well it seems to be an excellent product, that I would like to have right now. Anyway, I would likle to know, if the M8 that you already have, has the WI-Fi or not. For european customer, this feature is really important and it'll be a vital component which could determine the success outside China.
And at last, I'm getting crazy about this phone, I need one new phone, and purchising another one than M8, get me crazy. What a pain.
Anyway, 2380 RMB, appear not really cheap: better than Iphone, but eventually for the launch in Europe, it could be an obstacle: that's my honest opinion.Last edited by Gianluca; 12-25-2008 at 02:56 PM.
