Chinese to English translation - in progress

BTW, what's the difference between a 像素 and a 亮点?
I translated 亮点 as "faulty pixel" because I wasn't sure he was talking about "stuck pixels". But stuck pixels make more sense to as they are always bright.

像素 is the pixel itself. 亮点 is bright pixel, 暗点 is black pixel (both are faulty).

It supports quadband but our network license (application) only covers dualband.

四频跟两频在技术上有那大的难度吗?几十年前的那种砖头手机都能在国外漫游,你今天声势浩大造个M8还只支 持两频,这个有点神奇了

This JW guy is not right, is it really only dualband? If that's the case then it really will cripple a foreign release. Why won't you let foreign M8 fans enjoy the M8 as well? Is it really such a big technical feat to include quadband? The brick sized phones from tens of years ago supported international roaming. With your impressive modern manufacturing prowess it's difficult to believe that the M8 only supports dualband.

then JW replies that in reality it is quad band, but the network authorization they applied for only includes dual band license.

and actually, i dunno if the other 2 frequency bands have such a huge market. they are only used in US, aren't they? (sorry about that you guys from overseas )

US, Canada and in many countries in South America (eg Brazil, Chile, Argentina)
