Sorry, but I had to correct you in a way that changes the entire post, and what I think you meant.

There are no authorized M8 sellers in Hong Kong...yet. That's not going to stop enterprising people from selling it, but if you want to buy it with peace of mind from someone authorized by Meizu, you gotta wait. Here is the page from Meizu's website if you want to bookmark it:

    ???????

you don't need to be a chinese expert to see that there are no shops listed. sadyl anyway, if they will have shop(s) there, then it should be listed with address and picture, etc.

i'm also interested in this thread very much, cause i'll visit HK around the end of january, and planning to get my M8 there/then

Here are the google translations for the meizu website main page, and the specific link that chengdude gave you.

When you need to get quick translations (even if they're bit messy), you can always use "translate.google.com".. it's easy!

Maybe they sell it in Shenzhen or Guangzhou, just catch a train/look at the Meizu website and find it out!

If you want to buy one in China right now, you will most likely have to reserve with a deposit and wait 1-2 weeks. When the M8 becomes more widely available, there will no doubt be plenty to buy in Hong-Kong via the gray market.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

I wouldn't recommend that. Shenzhen has a high crime rate of pickpockets and is notorious for its millions of prostitutes. You may wind up with no wallet before you even get to the Meizu store.

...and it's also notorious for the millions of men from Hong Kong who cross the border to enjoy them.

There are a couple of authorised Meizu retailers in HK but I'm not too sure whether they are planning to stock the M8. But if they do plan to stock the M8 expect them to get their stock later than the mainland and you will have to pay slightly more than the mainland retail price. There are 2 retailers that i know are in the computer district which stock Meizu products (in Mongkok, near Fa Yuen St and Tung Choi(i think)).

I I remember correctly, there is a store in the far right hand corner of the computer centre on the second level. Sorry for being so vague but I am terrible with names. Oh, and make sure you speak Cantonese or get someone who speaks Cantonese to go with you because they will try and rip you off if you don't understand it. I went in speaking english and the guy started speaking Cantonese to the other staff saying that I was a foreigner and when I tried to haggle with him (in English) he and the other staff were talking saying that not to give me a discount because I didn't know what the prices should be since I was a foreigner.

Sorry I can't be of more help

Ok, thank you for this tips in HK. What about a reseller in Shenzhen? I still haven't noticed any shop there in the Meizu website. Am I unfortunately right?
I'll not go see the prostitutes.

So very chinese of you (I don't know if you are. Don't get me wrong.) I have heard this about Shenzhen and Guangzhou so many times from chinese friends. The moment you set foot in these cities, prepare to be robbed

which is btw still much better then what we have here in east europe...
i've been to SZ, and i didn't get robbed, or cheated, or anything, so it's not that big of a problem. but of course big and lively cities always have a higher crime rate, unless the police is as strict as in HK...

Off topic, but isn't it just the fact HK is so safe compared to any place in the world? So the HK people think Shenzhen and Guangzhou are very unsafe, but hey, pretty much of pickpockets in Amsterdam too, but I've never felt unsafe there!

3 listings for shops in Shenzhen authorized to sell the M8:

    ??????????????

    ????????????

    ??????????????????

Google Translate or one of the prostitutes can help you with the Chinese.

There are probably dozens of other shops selling Meizu products and some may even get their hands on the M8 eventually...I'd personally go for the J Wong Seal of Approval™
