Sorry if this question has been asked/answered already, but will an English language option be available upon the M8's release in China? If it is, are there any previews or pictures of it in action?

A little of both, ActiveSync is needed for calendar and contact synchronization, but as far as I know, it's just drag and drop for music and videos. They need to be supported by the M8 though. Look for the stickied thread in the M8 forum that states its specifications.
