Meizu M8 Design :(

after see many times the m8 design, i think now: i don't agree with this:

i hope that the new version m8(8 december 2008) has a new design"similar"(but a new design)

i don't like the grey stripe around the m8(Ugly)

1.design of M8 today: 6.5/10
2.design of M8 fan art(but i'm not sure of that): 10/10
???M8 8GB?MEIZU M8 8GB ????,????,???? ???

the soon released m8 (maybe 8th december) is not a new version. There was no m8 version before.

What's the big difference between the 2 pictures. on the right one the display is on and the metal border isn't flashy as the left one. But anything else is the same!

You linked pictures from your hard drive, and as we do not own your hard drive, the pictures could not be displayed.

I'm agree with qwe32asd the second picture it's not real: there is no button nd no hole for the sound.

I still like the design, but to be honest I'm over it (its pretty similar to the iPhone's and it is just getting old). I think the grey bar looks alright.

I think it looks too plain now. Needs more detail. Just my own opinion. The ooooold designs were pretty cool (especially the white one and the silver-front one).

Since the gray stripe/bar around the M8 is an added detail, I like it.

I think I agree.

i dont see whats wrong with the gray stripe. but then again, im not a perfectionist.

i think that wait the white version(i hope that has the same color that N97 white)

or wait the second version,

because i don't would make the same mistake that the nds,
(I wait very longtime the 1st nds and now i regret evryday that bought it,when i see the nds lite)

otherwise i feel the m8 ugly maybe for reason that all is photo/picture and he looks different that when i have it!!!!

I like M8's design. Very minimalistic, fresh and neat; better than iPhone and, of course, the others iPhonish mobiles.

I was worried about buying or not buying M8. But I think that I'll buy it soon and, two years later, buy the new 3G version, or M9 or something.
I think that there's not too much expensive...

And you can do the same with NDS. But now don't buy NDS lite, but NDSi.

So I'll ask to my chinese buddy the price of M8...

While I think the metal stripe looks good, I have to agree. I'm not too happy with the thing either. It just looks too much like an iPhone. Nokia, Google, HTC etc. all prove that you can design non-iPhone-ish devices that look cool. Why can't Meizu?

I don't think you can really say it looks better that the iPhone when they look practically identical design wise, apart from different logos and tiny differences in design (which I don't think make it look better or worse, just very slightly different).

Yes, both are very similars.
But I prefer this little "differences" on M8.
For example, I don't like this iPhone's rounded frame, and I prefer this frame with chamfer. But this is a personal taste.
I see M8 like an improved (aesthetically) iPhone. It correct many things from iPhone that I dislike.

I want it white.
