as i see, this is just a replica of the one one the official meizu site. although i can't find it now, but i remember there was a set of instructions how to upgrade the firmware.

Will this unlock the 850 band as well?

850/1900 band already unlocked.

Are you bloody serious? I thought Mac's would be able to handle that.. routine stuff..

The one reason I hate Apple, they have to do _everything_ just slightly different.

Have you tried a Google search with 'rar mac os x'? I get quite a lot of results on rar unarchivers.

Windows can't do it by itself either, they support .zip. You'll have to download WinRAR or 7-Zip.

Yes, I know that Macs do everything in what you call different, but Microsoft didn't catch up to their early Macintosh's GUI up until Windows 95. Like it or not, Apple basically pioneered the modern GUI you see today.

@Raoul Weatherell: On mac you can download a programme called UnrarX, there are very few programmes (Free or otherwise) for mac that handle .rar files, I forget the name of the other good one but UnrarX is what I use and it does a good job for me.

You mean, Xerox. There's a very interesting Steve Jobs documentary on Youtube that talks about Microsoft, Apple, and how Apple deliberately stole the graphic GUI from Xerox. Funny that it even was Xerox who actually gave them a demonstration of it, upon request from Steve Jobs..

The interesting thing is that they say it in a way as if Microsoft's borrowing of ideas from the early Mac was any worse than what Apple did with Xerox. :P

BUT IN there there are options like "Boot Clean" and all that I have never seen while working on my M8..

Am I missing something here????

Another thing is why is this version of the M8 Cracker different than the one we all have been using to crack the wifi???
