JW confirmed delivery on the 10th? Maybe you better write. JW deliver to arround 20 testers on the 10th. NOT MORE !!!! Only 20 phones but crazy to see all the webshops selling the M8 online now.

Ellaellasopng, you should show us some proof of that as everyone can say only 20 M8's will be released. I don't believe you and I don't think too many others will either.

Well, ellaellasong is right about one thing: There are about 150 seller listings for the M8 on Taobao.com right now...and that's about 150 more than Jack Wong authorized

do you show me a proof for the delivery of more? did you proof all the stupid informations about the release date of the m8, unofficial shipping dates or guys right now selling the m8 in the online shop? weeks ago i wrote that m8 will not release in november and some of you guys told me i am not more than a stupid apple fanboy. some days ago i wrote that you will not able to buy a official m8 in china or a test unit. Maybe a fraud guy will ship you a m8 or a coal brick, but please understand easy words and switch on the brain.

do you agree that meizu is waitung for the licence? i think you do, or?

you can find that info in the deep sea of bbs.forum from meizu by jw.
you have to know that getting a licence is not a daily business. normaly in china it takes from 6 month up to 18 month. do you agree? you have too. no company did it ever faster. and meizu isnt a large company or a key player in market.

so on easy words you maybe are lucky to get one of total 500 test ( bit normaly the testers have to send them back to get a new one later ) or you will have to wait until lets say end of feb 09 or in my opinion until may 09. and now you can call me a stupid boy and you can run arround the chrismas tree and sing :"good no now that no-one know, i wil get a m8 soon!" whatever you do, you will have to wait.

and about the 20 units today or tomorow. no one of the shanghai dealers know anything about that. i asked today at cybermarket and in the elec. mall in xujiahui

and you trust these toabao sellers? crazy. JW can not authorized to sell because they are all not allowed to sell.......... IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND No licence no authorisation for selling that phone...my god!

and let me say: i visited toabao 3 days ago and users start selling hot air by mostly using same pictures.. only 3 guys did use pictures i never saw before...

Anyway, you are right on one point, all we can do is wait (like e always have).
there is just one thing I would like, it would be for JW to give us an honest answer on the release date. He must know he is not god to get a license faster than anyone else.
Also, if licence is not needed for international marcket, why not start selling on it?

exactly, i raised the same point a while ago. why not start selling internationally to cut losses and start rolling?

3 reasons not to sell international:


1.
you dont understand the licence. they are not allowed to sell AND produce in china. so we not only have to talk about selling. if they produce, they have to declare that they only produce test units. if they ship, customs will inform goverment and thats it. only way is to gh to shanzhai ji way. but meizu want to become a regular brand...and so they have to wait.

you also need a licence in germany for example. and you have to look for all norms and so on. still as you can see at sisvel website they do not have a mp3 licence. so selling is not possible or if they do, only with a lot of trouble. meizu has no rohs.

meizu feels not ready for the international market. they have NO plans to sell international. they are tired. several month they tried to get a sisvel licence but it did not work. they handle it with a trick by working with a french company to sell some mp3 and so on, but also tat business got into trouble. ( and also the reason why that french company will not sell m8).

anyway. i see a great product but on the other hand i see a meizu head who is not very lucky and professional working. why did mezu aplly for the licence sooo late? why do they tell they do have up to 500 working people? you can see such informations at alibiaba. in 2007 the annual was below 1 mio. usd. thats nothing let me say. up to 500 people and annual only 1 mio usd? sure most fans like jw. they like the style of business and the product. they love infos from jw, but he seems to have a to much time, ok thats only what i feel about.

i hope they fix all problems, but i am not sure.....they are to slow and to unprofessional. only a product is not all you need to be successfull.

Meizu has no plans of exporting M8... No problem. That's why there's chinadirect2u, eBay, and many more exporters.

Not hard to understand at all; in fact, you didn't understood the humor in what I wrote. It seems you're not aware that Jack Wong has previously stated he doesn't want any M8s to be sold online...only in Meizu shops.

BTW, I know English isn't your first language, but your disjointed and semi-hysterical rambling make you sound batsh*t crazy.
