They use different browsers, so it's not really fair to compare.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI will have to wait and see this browser thing for myself in person. As for the screen brightness, there is no way to be sure that the backlight setting weren't adjusted.

The question is... did they set the M8's brightness to 100%? Also, does Opera support Flash? Copy and paste?

Yahaikochan...dozo yoroshiku.
"So the M8 comes with Eminem? >.< "
Lol, hopefully not ^_~.
"The reason the M8 is slower is because it is running on GPRS. If it was running on Edge, it would be wayyyy faster. Also, what is the iPhone running on? Edge or 3G?
As to screen brightness, the M8's may not have been fully turned up?"
That makes perfect sense. Although...I wonder why the reviewer would forget about something important like that...Last edited by <=~Rex.llvleizu~=>; 12-03-2008 at 05:27 AM.

On a side note, there is no 3G coverage in mainland China. China Unicom does EDGE in Shanghai but not in other cities according to Wikipedia (english) (this could of course be untrue)

From Wikipedia. Wow, three different 3G standards. Are the handsets all compatible?
China announced in May 2008, that the telecoms sector was re-organized and three 3G networks would be allocated so that the largest mobile operator, China Mobile, would retain its GSM customer base and launch 3G onto the Chinese standard, TD-SCDMA. China Unicom would retain its GSM customer base but relinquish its CDMA2000 customer base, and launch 3G on the globally leading WCDMA (UMTS) standard. The CDMA2000 customers of China Unicom would go to China Telecom, which would then launch 3G on the CDMA 1x EV-DO standard. This means that China will have all three main cellular technology 3G standards in commercial use.- [Fred]
