Does it have wifi please answer

i cant seem to get a str8 answer,

WILL THE M* have Wifi, i no china bans wifi but sum say the indian model will have wifi, it must have wifi or i wont get it please someone clear this up for me

It's there, just disabled. Supposedly you're able to unlock it your self.

Wifi is locked via software.....i think

Think it will continue to be locked in china (for whatever reasons)

But sure it can be unlocked for the rest of the world

so to answer you - YES, the M8 WILL have wifi

So we only have to know how to unlock it... I don't think there will be an offical tool from Meizu to unlock it, if it's forbidden in China.

The way I understand it, Meizu will provide the unlock tool.

Dont think it quite works like that..

the locked wifi (in China) is due to Chinese law!

If Meizu use a simple geo-redirection script they can allow non-Chinese users access to the unlocking software.....

Im sure u know that Chinese users are blocked from accessing MANY 'western' websites - its the same principle!

Trust me its not rocket science - infact its VERY easy to do

Well... I still think it will be quite easy for chinese guys, too. If there are "some" blocked sites or not

I don't really care about if it's legal or not... I only want to have my Wi-Fi

Too true - but lets face it EVERYTHING is available on the net - if u got the time and the knowhow, theres no such thing as foolproof security.....

Actually,many Chinese user like me will never buy a phone without WIFI, because without WIFI means you can't access internet with high speed or with low cost.Fortunately, the Chinese government just prohibited saling phones with WIFI, but havn't prohibited using phone with WIFI,Chinese people can use a M8 with WIFI soon.
