    That is very good news for all that needed to use the other bands. You would think they would advertise it though.

    So this is a worldwide phone! You'll be able to use it almost anywhere in the world, with an applicable plan.

    tails, I think it's just that like the Wi-Fi, there's something regulated about extra bands.

    Put the M8 in a imaginary circle, walk around it for 2 times and do a 10 second moonwalk. That'll do it for sure. Best regards.

    Quad-band is useful for worldwide use, but not in China, so they only list what is important to the locals. Worldwide, we need the four bands for it to operate on our frequencies.

    Oh yes, talhaismail, you've posted half a dozen questions concerning the same thing. If you decided earlier that it was "DUAL BAND DAMMIT", then why are you asking us?

    And you'd better wait until people have it in their hands before they can tell you how to activate the whole quad-band (if it's not on by default)

    Quad band is obviously fine in Australia (i hav a qb phone). But lets just say the M8 was "dual-band" (which it is not), would the M8 work here in Australia?

    Yes. We're all sure that the Meizu M8 is a quad-band phone. There's no doubt about it.

    Does this off-topic really need to go on much more? Don't you guys get tired of bullying the new member?

    I know that it's annoying to see the same questions repeated over and over, but it's a lot worse to see threads getting bumped with nonsense like this.

    @talhaismail:
    - yes, you should be able to unlock it yourself. So far we've seen screenshots of a cracking application to unlock WiFi and Edge.. I'm not sure about the quad-band, but even if it doesn't exist yet, a similar software should come at some point;
    - please use the forum search function next time;

    Entire page of off-topicness and insults deleted...

    talhaismail: Stop hijacking threads with random questions. Ask one question once. Do not create a post if you already have the last word. Instead, edit your previous post if you have something to add. These are some of the things that annoy people.

    To the others involved: Was that really needed? Frankly, I'm quite disappointed.
    Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!
