Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts900/1800 is used in Europe. Those unsupported bands are used only in USA. Also, I believe T-Mobile NL uses these, but you'd have to look that up.

Wait cto11, where did you find that out? I thought the Meizu M8 supported:
Networks: GSM/GPRS 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
(according to the specs). I'm in the states and I use T-mobile, which utilizes
frequency-band 1900 MHz I believe. Oh no...now I'm worried!

Meh, any GSM phone should work in the US.

It is from here.

GSM phones should still work almost worldwide though...

Definitely has changed from when the site first went up. Dual band???
I wonder if it's just a technical glitch or if Meizu is attempting to preserve some future international sales via their licensed channels rather than through the grey market.

The phone is quad band. it was stated in the beginning.
The website info is for china; i think JW is keeping it secret from China authorities
.
It may have something to do with getting the license
BTW Check out this thread: http://www.meizume.com/minione-m8/73...-1900-mhz.html
