J.Wong:很遗憾，目前所生产的机器听筒声音效果达不到出厂标准。
而电路改良后的版本要等12月5号才能上线生产，
在此之前我们只能发出共500台机器，其中100媒体评测机，100内测机，300代理商演示 机。
并且在新版本生产出来后这些机器都需要返厂更换新版本，新版本要在12月5号后才有机器发出。

I won't arrive in China until the 13th, so I don't mind. But what's the cause for the delay? Some production difficulties? I thought they were mass producing already?

the phone has been in test for a while, JW himself was using it. And just a few days before release an issue comes up!!! strange

They need to improve the circuit, in order to better sound effects.
However, there are still 500 machine appear as planned

I think probably with the related of components.Batch production is different with the sample production .If you understand the production process.

I get the point, what I am saying ins that the phone has been in test for a while. If it was this one issu I don't think I would have paid attention, but let's face it, they have been proffessoinals in delaying the thing with this and that.
It is just the drop of water. But we will wait, we have been doing this for 2 years and we want it but it is just anoying.

Actually JW means is the Earpiece sound quality not meet the Production quality. that why they need change the circuit. just few day delay. not a big issue. some more i next 2~3 day we will see a lot review and video clip. at last the M8 our getting is high quality, better than recall service.

some more event they sell the "test unit“ now your also can't getting, because most of display shop receive 50~100 (or more) booking already. and early stock supply just around 20~30 unit.

The problem is most of fans don't believe this reason.they think it's just another trick,for waiting retail license.

It's actually possible issues pop up on the mass production and not on the tests. This is because the wat a unit is manufactored differs. With tests, extreme care can be held for each unit because there are only a few hundred, mass producing is way faster and bigger and therefore more sensitive to small errors.

My guess on the problem is crosstalking on the electrical circuit. It happens a lot and you can hear it when for example the music circuit is too close (or not isolated enough) from some active chip. The problem might be the music circuit lying just over the GSM chip which will cause interferance. Isolating the music circuit will easily solve this. This stuff hapens a lot when devices move from test production to mass production.

Yet, I wonder when a black 16GB device will be released.

What if JW want to make a fancy curtain call to his business. I don't have any angry or confusion. And I don't want to mess around with JW's opera. I just like to have fun with the people here.

This is disappointing.The time we can buy is delay again.But still we can see more news from media.

The license only can be getting soonest is around 12/15. and without license JW can't sell m8 on big quantity if not other phone maker will compliant to Authorities. so production now is limited to few hundred. just for some impatient fans before license is out.

remember more delay is more problems to Meizu, they will short of fund for company operation. if can sell "test unit" J.Wong off course more happy, but he not a person will compromise with quality of his product.
