This is fake. They should have the same bitrate and have same ID3-tags.

Also here are the original M8 icons if anyone's interested.Last edited by nice2know_u; 11-23-2008 at 06:37 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWhere did you get the firmware? Would love to start messing around with it already, maybe try to extract it.
Btw, even when those are fake, there are some nice tunes on it to import to the M8. For example this Tunnels tune. They are all standard Windows Mobile tones, btw, so they should indeed be on there.

apparently we need to log in to download the firmware (VIP only). can you upload the firmware?
@nice2know_u: from the looks of the manual the firmware file looks like a .bin file (if im correct). You can browse a .bin file using PowerISO. It may not work if the M8 .bin file is encrypted in a different format, but Im sure this will work.Last edited by Blah; 11-24-2008 at 08:13 AM.

Thanked 1,049 Times in 391 PostsRight, it's a .bin file, but not a cd image, so neither poweriso, or winrar, or any other program like those can open it.

edit: nevermind, they took it offline again...
