Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOh, I thought the PT850 was quite good already, better then the average headphones you get with MP3 players anyway. My point was that they aren't in-ear. In ear isolates the noise so you don't head anything from the outside. Generally, in-ears have a much better sound quality as well. Everyone I know woh switched to in-ears never wants to go back to normal ones. So, the point is, Meizu should ship in-ears with it. Don't know how the market in China is for this kind of earphones, but here in Europe you see more and more people with them every day. Another option is using a compatible third party headset like the Creative EP-630i which got a microphone and a control button as well.

Have you ever lost the little nipple things for your in-ears? It's so annoying when that happens!

O/T HD has advantages, for sure, but I agree that there is far too much hype surrounding it...however, hype is required for the masses to take note.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostIndeed, in-ear phones have the advantage in noisy places like the bus or subway, but they usually have bad soundstage so I think it actually depends on where you're planning to use them. Personally, I prefer non-in-ear phones because of the better soundstage and because they are less intrusive. But I keep a pair of each kind, so I can use the ones best fitted to where I am :P
Regarding the new EP20, I'm very curious about them, since I found the PT850 already impressive for their price range.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsLook at sensitivity.
EP-630 - 106 dB, EP20 - 112 dB. So that doesn't mean that M8 is loud.
It shouldn't be in-ear - mostly people are using "tablets", so why to worry them.
In fact thay would better put some $0.10 phones with M8 to decrease the price, and you can use such phones to check that your M8 works and then just throw them away and use something normal you might already have.
And what is that "iPhone compatible plug"? Is it described buy some standard? Or I need to use iPhone to understand what it means?

From my understanding these have a built in mic/button unit.
In this case , In ear is not really a good idea , Seeing as a hands free headset is usually used in a car, This means you'll want to hear other things in case a situation occurs, If you had an In-ear hands free kit you would have problems.
Perhaps including two sets of headphones would of been better , an In-ear standard set and a hands free kit. They don't really cost very much $ at all.Click the little (+/-) button next to someone to reward or punish someone
