Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsNow, the first pics are leak, I will ask me something about the dims.
The thickness of the M8 should be about 11,5 mm. At the pic of the side it looks like 15mm. The M8 is very nice of course but the fabulous thickness of not more than 12mm it was a very big reason for me to buy.
I am very scary abot the pics and I hope I will be mistaken and my eyes are responsible for that.

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsIt's definetely thinner than 15 mm. Just look at the top of it where you can see the 3,5mm jack. I think it's still something like 11,8 mm or so.
JW said earlier they couldn't fit a higher capacity battery because that would ruin the thickness.Last edited by nice2know_u; 11-18-2008 at 09:38 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsPersonally I won't mind if it's 15 mm thick. It can be a little bit heavier then 120g as well. I want to feel something's in my hand, actually. Didn't like the small formfactor of the iPhone either.

it will be wide enough to hold but it has to be thin because I have to wear it in my trouser pockets as well. And I don't use a strong belt whole the time

Why does it seem like no one likes the aluminum alloy rim?
Personally I think the splash of metal adds a touch of class. Doesn't anyone except me think it looks more sophisticated than the all black M8 we have seen in pictures?

Sure, but it's just too much like the iPhone already, no need on improving.

i honestly hate the aluminum rim
partly because i dont like the "shineyness" of it

is the user interface(UI) like the iphone? Is there going to be internet explorer and windows media player and mail and call applications on the bottom like the iphone? you know how the iphone has safari, call, ipod and mail applications, is the meizu going to be the same except with internet explorer and windows media player instead of ipod?
Thanks so much waja, you are such a helpful person (keeps us updated)!

Thanked 91 Times in 32 Postsi think many old thread (on Sept and Oct) have lot of screenshots and picture taking by J.Wong, you can view back on it, the UI some or not same with iphone depend on your judge, and M8 not use IE, they use custom opera browser and custom music player with can support almost all music format. or you may watch the Video taking by JWong on main pages of meizume.
JWong already said they modify WinCE interface with Meizu-Mobile UI which event not much people can't recognizes clearly OS it is base a Wince OS.
