From what I can tell, German eBay has been 100% reliable when bying from there. Of course I prefer using the Shops.

Edit: I asked them if they will charge immediately or once they get the product.

From J.Wongs replys we know that it will not be a quad-band 3G.

But there is little odd description in specs:

Looks to me like they don't even know what to expect. Could be many angry customers waiting to get all those features. And that's what could hurt Meizu's reputation.

Also that CNMO.com review... it was made from some test-version and if they encountered many bugs with it and reviewed them, it could also affect the upcoming of M8 release. I think thats why Mr. Wong asked them to remove the review.

thats my idea to, and iff you order and pay with paypal you can allways claim the money back, so if it is a real seller, he will not risk scams?

Well... look at the price. 8GB -> 500€ 16GB -> 600€... that's far too expensive... even if it's a fake or not.

The hacker can do scams like this.

He will ask you to pay with moneygram or western union because the paypal payment will not work..He will do this to let you any chance to see your money back...

come on people. that ebay auction is a fake. its only a marketing trick. he will not sell and he protect himself from selling by offering such a high price. who will buy a 8 GB meizu for arround 500 euro?

no meizu m8 on the 25th of 28th of november. no licence, no production. it need up to 4 weeks to prepare and setup a mass production. so sorry, please stop the rumors about the release date.

I am sure he is a legitimate seller, he's just selling it as a pre-order.

Hey guys, think of what, i actually contacted that suspisious ebayer (by mail) and got today a reply of him. He really pretends that the M8, available on 28., is eqipped with umts etc. Moreover, he wrote that "the old M8" released earlier had no umts but the "M8" he was offering does. How freaky is that! This obviously is junk...

Please...I know a lot about eBay and I'm a very experienced user. He probably does not have a hacked account and he's not trying to scam anyone. It's a pre-sale. He mentions it right there in his auction. He states that the actual device is not released until Nov. 28 (Sorry for the mistake in my earlier post, I was exhausted last night). Since there is no official final spec-sheet, he just used the old one.

I am a German Ebay Member for 8 years. This auction is real and not hacked. I wrote a message to seller, now. If he will anwser I will tell you.
