Why a company that has been making a name for itself with its early mp3 players and m6/m3 would throw so much time in just making rumors and rendered photos of a mobile phone that would not even exist? IF the M8 would be vapour, they would've released some new mp3 player(s) with all this time. Agree?

I think it really does exist. I don't think Mr. Wong is trying to sell us on the existence of the Loch Ness monster or Sasqautch or anything like that.
Hopefully, we'll all be holding one in the next 60-90 days!

Seems J Wong's confidence in the M8 and his patience with nitpicky fans' questions are growing at inverse proportions.
Not sure about waiting in line to buy one, but that comment does raise an interesting question: Would you pay extra to be an early adopter if supplies are tight and sellers can command a premium?Last edited by chengdude; 11-18-2008 at 01:30 PM.

Thanked 91 Times in 32 Postsbecause in china mp3/mp4 player sales volume drop 60% this year, and soonest mp3/mp4 player will takeover by mobile phone which have ability to play mp3 and video in 1~2 year time after mobile phone become more and more popular in china. So meizu have to find other new business and they looking at mobilephone which have more than 100milian unit sales in china per year.
