See it looks awesome and all , But why is the screen not flush , I mean what is the point of a border like that on the screen , seriously.
Look

You can easily make it 0.1" bigger and the device looks so much better, There is no need for a border, Its not like there is actually anything restricting it on the sides like that.
Also I want hardware shots :P.... Pleaseee :D.... Lets find out the real capabilities of the system from some pic's of the chips , Instead of just the processor model no.

It's more comfortable to reach things on the sides of the screen... I don't know, but I still like it.

nice pictures, but why is the display grey? Is it possible that m8 have a bad contrast? All pictures I have seen are with a very dark background. So you cant say something about quality of the display

It kind of looks like chrome siding. Maybe possibly with something added to it to make it play with the lighting. That's my guess, I'm totally not sure though .

Don't forget about the viewing angle when you say it has bad contrast...I think it's perfectly normal. As a matter of fact I think it's pretty impressive.

Could the border have something to do with the screen resolution? I know that on the palm treo pro the screen is flush, but doesn't go all the way to edge even though it looks like they could have made it. Also I think when it comes down to the components they have to work with and what the engineers have to cram under the hood, they are not left with any room to make the device any slimmer to bring the edges in to the screen and because of the screen's resolution they can't close the gap to the edge. I'm not sure though so don't take my word for it , but if someone could clear this up I think the whole community would like to know? I sure can't wait to see some reviews on this puppy and wrap my claws around one (and not the one in the M8 already released thread -- thanks, but no thanks. )!

i had a long discussion last saturday with meizu. they send me a photo and promised to ship the phone soon. so long time of waiting will find a end YES !

ellaellasong probably has a M8 to play with for a while. :P Sept everyone has signed that agreement not to spill anything about the device. or take any pictures of it , Still , are opinions of it not allowed either? How the device feels , Is the interface smooth?
