The M logo.
It's pretty cool to see a phone from a small Chinese company that is going to compete with the big manufacturers, but with a cheaper price.

If price doesn't matter, I would want a 10000 maH battery, Windows XP, a 3.2 Ghz i7 Quad core from Intel, a 10 MP camera, a 160 gig HDD, Scratch resistant everything, Hi-Fi speakers, 1280x800 resoloution, 30 FPS video, support for open source programs, USB host (Like ability to plug in a keyboard and use it), and everything else that has been promised. I don't care how big it will be (Within reason of course).

Thanked 34 Times in 21 Postsif you'regoing for open source software support, then better make it run some linux, in my opinion. there's already a neat version of Redflag for mobile devices

otherwise: i am actually pretty pleased with the current hw specs at the moment. 3mpx camera is more than enough, the higher resolution doesn't improve image quality at all, as long as the physical size of the CCD/Cmos stays the same. WiFi is a must for me, but an option for 3G would also be nice, just in case. i don't care about the CPU, as long as it can keep the system runing at a decent speed, even during multitasking. ascreen size and resolution is already among the best on the market. actually there are some smaller ideas i love: like that sliding key/screen lock button on the side (like on Moto E2, E6, or Nokia N81), 3.5mm jack output, miniUSB, memory card slot, scratch resistant font at least, nice quality speakers (not stereo, but with good volume, and clear sound).
on the software side, the more programs the better. but for me there are a few musts: usable qwerty keyboard (both landscape and portrait modes), hand writing recognition, chinese dictionary, office application, ebook reader, voip software, instant messaging, ftp client, support for alarms even when turned off. maybe GPS software (with external receiver is okay for me, at least uses less battery).
that's it i think

Windows XP Embedded is what you're looking for, it designed for embedded devices.
3.2Ghz Core i7 Extreme Edition requires a hell lot of power, and cooling for that matter, and plus, who's going to program for a 3.2Ghz quad-core hyperthreading CPU for a mobile device?
It doesn't matter how good the image sensor is, camera phone lenses will usually screw up action or low light shots.
Scratch resistant everything, now that's within reach, but still no one has decided to make it.
Hi-Fi speakers in a small space are very expensive, maybe as an add-on.
1280x800 resolution is the same resolution that my laptop has, and it very clear already. Don't know why you'd like to put it in a smaller space.
30FPS is easily done with a faster proc.
Support for open source programs, meh, you're thinking too much of a computer.
USB Host is possible, they just ran out of time (and money?) to implement it.

I did kinda exagerate, but you get the idea. If they were to implement the i7 processor, it wouldn't be too hard to put in a fan, and that's why I asked for a 10000mah battery. A higher resolution simply is better. It's like looking at a 15 inch screen with only 320x240. It will look really pixellated.
By the way, the i7 doesn't use Hyper Threading. Only P4's used that.If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Sorry, didn't mean to detract to what was intended in this thread. In that case, I guess I really want the WiFi, since we live in the U.S.

If you import it, you wouldn't need an FCC license. If Meizu or another company wants to sell it commercially, they would need an FCC license.
