They should at least be consistent in advertising. Looks really iClone like that.

Sadly it looks like it's only 1200 mAh. Also I think JW mentioned this...

ya, Jwong mentioned before battery is 1200mAH, and there is no room in M8 to make bigger battery , unless willing to sacrifice the slim and weight of M8.

Why not make two models? One fat with crazy battery life, one slim with the 1200Mah pack.

I honesty think Meizu are insane putting only a 1200mah battery in the M8. This is a suppose to be a media centered device! (meaning lots of music and video etc) It actually shocks me that manufacturers do not pay more attention to battery life. If I was building ANY portable electronic device batterty life it would be one of my top priorities.

Unfortunately we can without a doubt IMO expect the M8's battery performance to be pretty weak. When you consider that the HTC touch HD uses a 1350 mAh and the screen is only 80 pixels longer and also it is only 65,000 colours! So imagine trying to power an LCD with a higher pixel density and 16 million colours with a less powerful battery! Not to mention the fact the HTC touches battery is seen as below average.

Sorry to be negative but that does not look good at all. The only good thing is at least you will be able to carry a spare. Not ideal though by any means.

It'll probably last at least a day of regular use. Didn't they say they were releasing a high-capacity battery alongside with the first M8?

In my opinion the battery is putting a nail in the m8's coffin. lets just hope it can break free with the specs it will have. I don't think I will even bother getting the first version of the m8. It lost too much appeal with all the features being lower or taken out. I'll wait and see what the next version will be like which is supposed to be the ultimate version. Let's just hope we aren't waiting another 2 years ha ha

Yeah, you can always wait, as the M8's battery is user replaceable friendly. Look at the original iPod for example. It came with like a 600mah battery, they make 2000mah batteries for it now.
