I see, I didn't know about that...

A few pages back someone asked the iPhone battery life. As I own one, I'll state my experience instead of the sugarcoated specs companies always use.

1 day, from dawn to midnight.

This is the batterylife using EVERYTHING. 3g on with a few calls, a lot of 3g safari/mail, listening music in the bus to university, rewatching a good part from a video, the complete set. And everything else in casual use (agenda) and a jailbreak that (theoretically) should use up more energy.

Dead within 24 hours, always changing it back full while sleeping.

This is fine for me, and it seems though the m8 is going in the same direction.

What are "Denticles"? Is that the area around the circular images (like the WebBrowser.exe & the MzMusic.exe icons) that are not smooth?

When I first heard about the M8, I don't think it said it would include the distance sensor. This is very good news!

About minimzing the phone calls, I use that feature a lot on my SE s500i to look in my calendar which is usefulf or making an appointment during a phone call or in my phone book when I need to pass through someone's phone number, for example. And, offcourse to play a game during some boring conversation :P

Here's the weird keyboard layout again...

That's weird yes, but I don't think we have to worry for that keyboard layout to appear in typing areas like the SMS app. Meizu should know this sucks and by the looks of it this is just to type a few letters, not entire words.

i like tht search feature for the telephone directory and i hope there is one just like it for searching for music.. does anyone know of this?

yeah the search feature was one the things i best liked on my N78. Just hoping Meizu wil implement such a feature on the M8.

I don't see too much potential for it, since mobile phones are usually kept organized compared to a computer.

Just remember the video of M8 when JW played with the music interface. I recall there was an id3 search function too.
