Thanked 55 Times in 43 Postsnow with waja2000 words i'm really worry about wifi(included or not in the final version) and really don't know why they don't put a two sim card slots it would be a comercial argument and it's easy very convenient to find this option in china phones.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAw, it'd really suck if it won't have WiFi. If it would have 3G it would be doable, but this makes it quite annoying. If this is true, I might as well just connect over BT but that's too complicated and only available when I got my laptop with me or when I'm at home where I've got a home-wide BT network aside form a WiFi network..

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postswaja2000 please ask Mr. Jack Wong (peace be upon him) if the M8 can record phone conversations. Also tell him that I would like, as a feature, automatic audio recording if the phone is dropped/hit/thrown. Thanks for your efforts waja2000.
A message to those who oppose a non-removeable battery (perhaps a feature for M9 Secure): I would prefer a device with non-removable battery so that people won't circumvent being held accountable for their actions and words. (only one example of need: Police officer taped ranting at driver fired - CNN.com) And yes people will try to destroy evidence….

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'm not sure how removing the battery gives you data loss, but apart from that there is now a Dutch (or even European?) guideline that these type of devices (mobile phones, pda's, etc) must have a way of 'easily' removing the battery. You should be able to replace it and it's better for the environment if this stuff get get separated easily.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell it's nice but makes 0 sense. Are the pictures above the internet browser? The bottom few look like some text editor with the numbers being font sizes. On the screen where number 16 is selected, the text at the bottom is much smaller then at the picture with 24 selected.
I wonder if the device is will run Opera Mobile, btw, it rocks.
About the removable battery law, it's European. That's why Apple has been in discussion with the EU for the last few weeks about their iPhone with it's non-removable battery. I don't get the point Charlie is trying to make. If I want to remove evidence on my phone, I'll just press delete or if it's very important I'll crack it open and destroy the flash chips. Removing a battery only destroys data which is in the phone's RAM, for example pictures that have just been taken and aren't transferred to the flash memory yet. The only way to destoy data on the flash chips by closing power is having the battery removed at the time the device is writing to a certain datablock. If that happens, the block is most likely destroyed but even then it's still partly readable.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYou must have processed the last sentence "And yes people will try to destroy evidence…." as the overall point I was trying to make. But the sentence before that was "I would prefer a device with non-removable battery so that people won't circumvent being held accountable for their actions and words." I probably should have separated those two sentences into two paragraphs to avoid misunderstanding.
Here is the interpretation. Imagine a scenario where a ongoing "situation" is occuring. The person causing the situation is aware that he/she is being taped. The person does not know how to check if the device is taping. So they remove the battery. Use your imagination to fill in the gaps.
"And yes people will try to destroy evidence…." should have been written as, 'people will try to avoid accountability.'

1) The non-removable battery law is because you shouldnt throw away the batterys.. Not to cause data loss.
2)I prefer a non-removable battery , Means the devices is probably thinner and wont fall apart in my pocket.Click the little (+/-) button next to someone to reward or punish someone

It really depends. Everything has its pros and cons.

removable is better, you can change it without leaving your phone for a week and not be charged for workmanship... +phone won't fall apart in your pocket, I have never seen a Phone do that!!!!!
