The back was never made from metal. Jack Wong they tried it but gave up. Front looks like an LG Prada, which the iPod Touch and iPhone copied. OK, are you kidding when you say the back looks like the iPhone 3G back? Because it's glossy black? The 3G doesn't have a removable battery, so it doesn't even have that line. Apple fan boys like you associate everything with the iPhone.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMeizu is however not known for the quality of the speakers. This got nothing to do with the quality of the soundchip where Meizu is known for. Thought the 'weakest' part of this devides the sound quality. Nonetheless, no matter how good those speakers are for phone use, they will never match a decent in-ear set or a HiFi tower. I'm more interested in the quality of the music output through the jack plug.
And ./agree with SteveMB89. Apple fanboys might even compare a frickin cow to the iPhone because it comes in black and white. You shouldn't take those fanboys too serious though. They only fell in love with their iPhone because El'Jobso said it's good.

someone testing the machine said m8's loudspeakers were much better than asus a8 notebook. so i think it's no doubt to trust m8's loudspeakers.
and i remember that a tester said the quality of the music output was better than m6/m3 and better than most of the music phones in the market.
so trust it.
i find some

he said
meizu did good jobs on the music performance.
the player's ui looks much better if you put a cover instead of the default cover.
the font of the lyrics is very beautiful. better than m6.
the quality of the music output is improved.Last edited by isoso; 10-06-2008 at 03:54 AM. Reason: appending

Thanked 91 Times in 32 Postsyes yes, M8 you are correct, M8 hv 2 speaker left and for sure is stereo, and it better than all most music Mobile phone in the market, not forget Meizu is Mp3 product company, they have expertise on this area, M8 design target is a multimedia mobile phone so not worry on sound quality, event better than sound play form Asus A8 notebook speaker (some M8 tester feeback) .

Mobile phone speakers are fast becoming the bane of my existence. Here in China, I see (and hear) more and more people in public using their phones as ghetto blasters for the new millennium.
Sorry, high quality stereo speakers or not, your music sucks...turn it off or use earphones please.
Rant over.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI happened across a girl working at a supermarket here in Canada that was blasting music out of her SE phone while walking through the aisles on duty. So it's not just a China/Hungary/etc phenomenon. I hope the M8 doesn't have external speakers!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHolland: same story. Everywhere... On the street, in buses, metros, trains. Incredibly annoying. The quality sucks and mostly it's incomprehensible gibberish (Turkish, Arabic, don't know, but something like that). Now that I live in Finland, it's way better. I heard one this week but I really think I heard it no more than 5 times in the passed 11 months (we moved here half November last year).
So for me, speakers of any higher quality than needed for hands free calling should be banned.
Hurrah for OpenneSS!

Imagine reaching a human-less mountain top. You take out your cell phone, place it onto a nearby stone and play music through its speakers to motivate your kung-fu practicing.
That's what an ideal situation for phone speakers would be in my opinion. Well...that or a gym without anyone else in it.
Kids looking for attention by blasting their music in crowded urban city areas (buses, downtown streets, malls) are VERY annoying.

以下是引用J.Wong在2008-10-3 22:46:00的发言:
用这个就可以啊
Windows Mobile 设备中心
也可以把vc或Windows 联系人文件存到m8指定文件夹中,用m8导入
-------------------------
J.W. said
use it
windows mobile device centre
and also you can save vc or windows contactors to the designated folder of M8, and import it with M8
-------------------------
so your answer is yes.but i don't know how to do Specifically.
