Haha, do you want to know the truth? In the 3 weeks that I own it I have never used my phone in the way you just described
I'm always using the entire fun package including (a lot of) 3g browsing/mail, much music playback, and regular phoning.
The m8 will definitly be used in the same way considering all of it's proposed features, so I think the situation is pretty comparable.ZTE Blade

Ok, for that kind of usage, it's quite acceptable for the battery to last one day.
But personally, I'm conviced that after the first month or so I would not use the M8 so much anymore, except for the phone function and the occasional internet access. That's why I'm concerned with how well the battery life will scale to different usage types. Anyway, I'm not planning to buy the 1st gen M8, so by the time the 3G version comes out, I should have all these questions answered

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsFound a new pic, altough this was not posted by JW so it could be a fake one (a few days ago I saw some new pics, but apparently they were deleted by some administrator because I can't find them...)
Exif info matches the one with the picture of a lighter, and it was created earlier. Looks awesome if it's for real.

I think this was the topic where I found the pics... Too bad they deleted it, I have to tell you they looked very nice!Last edited by nice2know_u; 09-26-2008 at 12:53 PM.

It's normal, since cell phone cameras or cameras with small lenses generally perform well in well lit places.

I'm pretty sure I saw that picture a few days ago. I'm pretty sure it's real.

The autofocus at this point seems to only be able to fix its focus at a particular spot...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi think these images look really good, but i think these are all in very good light conditions, i would really like to see how it performs in darker environments.

I wouldn't be surprised to see noise; even digital cameras with small lenses create a lot of noise in dark shots without flash. I don't notice it as much as I have a point and shoot camera that has a 2inch lens.

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsNoise actually depends on the ccd, which is small in point-and-shoot cameras and even smaller in cellphones. You will definetely see noise in low-light (actually you can see it in every picture).

It depends on both. The CCD reads the visual data; the bigger the lens, the more light that can be let in.
