08.20. M8 infos - translation needed!

Highlights:

- latest listing date is November, but JW prefers October (if they get the license in time) (!)
- something about a white shell will be available later
- double click with the M button will bring up the dial pad

damn just read the post on that link n J>w says that the 2nd version(3G) will be more appropriate for export. hope to see retaillers from china selling the 1st version coz i cant wait for the 2nd version

That would be sweet if it actually turned up in october/november. I'm not counting any chickens though, we still haven't seen that licence yet so who knows when we will actually see it. Good news about audio formats though.

So many people are waiting oversea for the m8, they'd be stupid if the wouldnt export.

Anyways, 3G isn't all that great yet, because the plans are ridiculous in Canada, not too sure about the US. It costs you upwards of $110 a month for a decent unlimited 3G plan here.

3G is somewhat like HDTV, when it goes mainstream, then we'll need a better system.

I agree totally. And A++ for the translation!

Here in the US, 3G coverage is spotty and expensive.

lol same. Plus who needs 3G when you have existing Wi-Fi? Jeez just improve on that, and we'll all be fine.
