I don't think that's reason enough to think they're fake. If someone was going to photoshop it why would they leave the little black bars there?

Theres a reflection of the camera used to take the picture of both the players and its smooth all the way across I'd say something like that would be impossible to PS......

I just realized why there are black bars on the sides, it's just an area which the LCD display doesn't go over. It's the same on my iPod Touch.

Look at the edges of my screen, around the browser it has a black outline.

Hm. Those pictures of the m8 with the browser raised a question for me. The auto vertical/landscape display orienting only works when the phone is held, correct?

It has to be held vertically, but after it goes into portrait or landscape mode it would stay in that mode if you were to put it down flat.

The camera reflection would be somewhat easy to PS, just make a layer with the camera covering the proper amount of area, then use a transparent gradient... But being smooth is something that's hard to fake.

One thing that's weird though is that the browser says "Loading", but the rest of the phone is Chinese... Seems somewhat suspicious... Why would you change the phone to display English for no reason? Plus the OS is unfinished so I don't think English will be programmed into it, yet.

Not really, because the picture may be just taken with a landscape orientation.

Sorry, my bad. I meant that the orientation sensor (accelerometer), probably would detect it, but the person taking the photos may have just taken it sideways.

Probably the same guy showing off his uploaded pics with his prototype M8. Might be Jack Wong, judging by the picture properties, it was taken with the same model of DV camera that Jack Wong used for earlier pictures.

The front camera is only good if you want to video call people, but that requires the phone to be 3G which the M8 isn't.
