Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi would want to see the finished product reviewed and tested on durability and everything else as well as see comments by users telling of the pros and cons of the unit before i would buy it. they seriously could of done better with the camera. the pictures taken with the m8 are grainy my samsung D900 has better picture quality than that, but i guess that's cause they can afford it since they are a larger company than meizu as well as older and have more experience in making phones.

If? Anyways, wait until a reputable seller lists an M8 for sale. I'm sure there's many fake listings for the M8 on there.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYou got those Samenkoop acties here in the Netherlands. It's when lots of people meet on, for example a forum, to order M8's. Everyone pays to the organisator who orders all the M8's at once. This is cheaper because you might get them for bulk price, and you have to pay far less transport costs. The organisator then sends the phones to everyone.
I believe those things are mostly done one SamenKopen.net - Home. They did the same thing when the M6 came out.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postshonestly, i love meizu's idea, but i think they really benefit from making good hardware and leaving more of the software to more dedicated companies. i did so much research on the m6 sl before i purchased one, but i have to say that some of the bugs i knew about beforehand have been very testing. meizu better bring a more stable os to the m8, or such a smartphone will be near impossible to use. the m6's bugs are much more acceptable b/c a music player isn't vital to your work--a cell/smart phone will be. i think that meizu should consider using android in addition to making their own os, or at least offer the option of one or the other or a dual boot.

I'm sure Meizu is aware of the bugs. That's why they're having beta testing.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostRegarding photo sensors on mobile phones.. has anyone heard about the OmniBSI CMOS image sensors from OmniVision? I just found a news article from last May that describes these new sensors, and how they may revolutionize the mobile phone cameras.
The technology seems to be about catching the light from the back of the sensor, avoiding several layers of metal and dielectric material that get in the way when light comes from the front. This seems to make for great improvements on image quality even at higher pixel densities.
Anyway, seems that this thing is already in production, so maybe someone who speaks Chinese could suggest it to JW on the Chinese BBS? :-)

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsNO, NO, NO and NO once more!
a) Meizu is hopefully to long into the process to change anything.
b) If J. Wong decides to change something now we'll not see this phone before twenty-thirty :P
